The Social Silsila (“TSS”, “we”, “us”) is a community in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India, run by Dev Mehta. It hosts social gatherings and ticketed events such as film screenings. These terms apply when you use thesocialsilsila.club, book a ticket through it, or attend one of our events. By booking you agree to them.
Bookings and tickets
Every ticket is for one person and one seat. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are the full amount you pay. A booking is confirmed only once your payment has been received, and we then send a confirmation to the email address you gave us. Please keep it; you may be asked to show it at the entrance.
Seats are allotted as shown on the booking page at the time you book. Seats you have selected are held for a limited time while you pay and are released if payment is not completed.
You must give accurate details when booking. If a payment cannot be matched to a booking, or details are clearly false, we may cancel the booking and refund the amount paid.

At the event
Events are held at third-party venues, and the venue's own rules apply as well as ours. Please arrive before the start time. We and the venue may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone whose behaviour puts others at risk or spoils the event for them, without a refund.
Some events feature guests or surprise appearances. These depend on the guests' own availability and are not guaranteed; a change to them does not by itself entitle you to a refund.
We photograph and film our events and may use the footage on our website and social media. If you would rather not appear, tell a member of our team on the day.
Changes to an event
If we have to cancel or postpone an event, we will tell ticket holders by email or WhatsApp as early as we can, and refund them as described on the refunds page.
Liability
We take reasonable care in organising our events. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for losses that arise from events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bhavnagar, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute.
